narro helps you decide what to watch. This policy explains what information the app and the trynarro.com website collect and how it's used. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to make narro work, we don't show ads, and we never sell your data.
If you sign up for the beta, we collect your name, email address, and anything else you choose to tell us on the form (how you heard about narro, who you watch with, your streaming services, your TikTok username), plus the kind of device you signed up from. We use it only to send your TestFlight invite and occasional beta updates. It's stored with Netlify, our website host, and copied to Airtable, where we keep track of invites. Ask us and we'll delete it.
Beta versions of narro are distributed through Apple's TestFlight. Apple shares with us the crash reports and any feedback or screenshots you choose to send, along with basic device details such as model and iOS version. Apple's own terms and privacy policy cover TestFlight itself.
Each service receives only what it needs to answer a request (for example, a search query). Their own privacy policies govern their handling of that data.
Your app data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account (and all synced data) any time from the Me tab inside the app, or by contacting us and we'll delete it for you. Beta sign-up details are deleted when the beta ends or when you ask, whichever comes first.
narro is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
